The Cast For the Korean Premiere of the Musical Aladdin Has Been Announced
The cast for the Korean premiere of the musical Aladdin has been announced. Kim Junsu, Seo Kyungsoo, and Park Kang-hyun will play the role of ‘Aladdin,’ while Jung Sung-hwa, Jeong Won-yeong, and Kang Hong-seok have been cast as the ‘Genie’ of the lamp. The role of ‘Jasmine’ will be performed by Lee Sung-kyung, Kyung A Min, and Choi Ji Hye.
The production company considered the actors’ skills and their fit with the characters, especially given the show’s demanding nature with over 30 quick changes in under a minute. The Korean premiere will open on November 22, 2024, at the Charlotte Theater in Seoul, and the show is set to continue in Busan starting in July next year.
