‘Time to Be Strong’ (Director: Sun Namkoong)” is the 15th Human Rights Film Project of the National Human Rights Commission. The film portrays the journey of three former members of a disbanded idol group who embark on a belated school trip to reminisce about their past and start anew, based on real-life events.

The 25th JIFF, which opened on May 1, 2024, concluded today, Friday the 10th, after presenting awards in 15 categories out of 232 films from 43 countries. The festival wraps up in the vicinity of Jeonju Cinema Street, where filmmakers met with audiences throughout the event.

It is an international film festival that introduces works at the forefront of contemporary film art and independent/experimental cinema. Since its start in 2000, the festival has been held annually, organized by the Jeonju International Film Festival Organizing Committee and sponsored by Jeonju City.
