The Korean Film”Love in the Big City” Has Been Officially Invited to the 49th Toronto International Film Festival

Kim Go Eun and Noh Sang Hyun‘s starring film ”Love in the Big City“ has been confirmed to be released on October 2nd, 2024. Prior to its release, it achieved the honor of being officially invited to the 49th Toronto International Film Festival. Based on the novel by Park Sang Young, the film depicts a love story unfolding between Jaehee, a free-spirited soul, and Heungsoo, who harbors a deep-seated secret. Directed by Lee Eon-hie, known for ”The Accidental Detective 2: In Action“ and ”Missing Woman“, the movie portrays the ups and downs of their love story.

The Special Presentation section at the Toronto International Film Festival showcases works by world-renowned directors and actors, previously featuring films such as Bong Joon-ho’s ”Mother“ and ”Parasite“, Park Chan-wook‘s ”The Handmaiden“, Kim Jee-woon’s ”The Age of Shadows“, and Ryoo Seung-wan‘s ”Veteran“.
