The film “Sleep” tells the story of a happy newlywed couple, Hyun-soo (Lee Sun-kyun) and Soo-jin (Jung Yu-mi), who struggle to unravel the secret of her husband Hyun-soo’s strange behavior during sleep, a terrifying horror that begins the moment he falls asleep. The film has been at the top of the overall box office for 23 days after “Oppenheimer,” and has held the top spot for days.
Officially selected for Midnight Madness at the 48th Toronto International Film Festival, “Sleep” was named one of the “Most Anticipated Films of the 2023 TIFF” by US publication Forbes.
