Lately, one TV series captivated the Korean public! The rating keeps rising!

It’s the TV series called “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” (“이상한 변호사 우영우” in Korean). The series is about a female lawyer, Young-woo Woo, with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) working at a law firm. With her remarkable intelligence, she graduates summa cum laude from Seoul National University School of Law, one of the most prestigious universities in Korea. But as she steps into society, survival starts.

The series is becoming sensational in Korea right now. Here are some of the reasons why we think people love this show so much.

  • The synopsis is interesting; a lawyer with ASD working with other lawyers and solving problems together.
  • The main character’s amazing acting (+ clear diction). Since it deals with law, the lines are extremely lengthy, yet she does an excellent job!
  • The chemistry between characters.
  • No villains. The show warms audiences’ hearts with inspiring story.

It premiered on ENA (one of the Korean TV channels) on June 29, 2022 and is also available for streaming on Netflix in selected regions. Only 4 episodes have been released and 12 more episodes are to air 🙂
