The Musical ‘Aladdin’ is Coming to South Korea

‘Aladdin’ is one of the most popular musicals on Broadway, having surpassed 3,500 performances and ranking 15th for the longest-running shows as of 2024.  ‘Aladdin’ is finally coming to South Korea. ???? The musical will be performed in two cities, Seoul and Busan. The premiere will take place on November 22, 2024, at Charlotte Theater in Seoul, followed by a run at Dream Theater in Busan starting in July 2025.

In South Korea, Casey Nicholaw, who directed the original production, will collaborate with the Korean creative team to successfully reproduce the original grandeur. The show will feature iconic songs adapted for the stage, including a new swing version of ‘Friend Like Me’ and an exhilarating 8-minute spectacle featuring Genie, exclusive to the musical ‘Aladdin’. Thrilling chase scenes like ‘One Jump Ahead’ and the romantic ‘A Whole New World’ are also highlights not to be missed.
