The pre-order of the debut album <New Jeans> sold 440,000 copies in three days, the highest record among the new K-pop girl groups that debuted in 2022.
All members are teenagers (the average age is 17).
Because the head of HYBE’s affiliate ADOR, Min Hee-jin, has supervised all aspects of production, from planning to execution, people had high expectations of this new group, New Jeans, even before their debut.

Who is Min Hee-jin?
Min Hee-jin is the CEO of HYBE’s affiliate ADOR.
She worked at SM Entertainment as a creative director and created sensational, commercially successful album concepts and arts, such as F(x)’s Pink Tape, Girls’ Generation’s Gee, SHINee’s View, EXO’s Growl, and Red Velvet’s Russian Roulette.
She is known to be the first person to apply visual directing and a group’s worldview on albums in the entertainment industry.
After leaving SM Entertainment in 2018, she joined HYBE as Chief Brand Officer (CBO) and also became the CEO of ADOR.
