What’s KTX(Korea Train Express)?
KTX is a high-speed and semi-high-speed train brand operated by Korail, the Korean Railroad Corporation. It represents the pinnacle of railway travel. It has been a transformative presence in the overall transportation landscape of South Korea. While the Gyeongbu Expressway and Gyeongbu Line opened the era of a 5-hour journey from Seoul to Busan, KTX revolutionized travel by halving that time to 2 hours and 30 minutes. It celebrates its 20th anniversary of operation on April 1, 2024.
