The work of South Korean artist Yang Haegue will be installed at the new Terminal 6 of New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, which is scheduled to be completed in 2026. This is part of a $22 million art project at JFK Airport. In addition to Yang Haegue, the project will feature 18 artists from 7 countries, including the internationally renowned artist Barbara Kruger and the prominent American conceptual artist Charles Gaines, who are well known among domestic art enthusiasts.
Yang Haegue will present a public installation sculpture as part of this project. The plan is to install the artwork in the skylight at a busy corridor intersection, showcasing cultural dynamism.
