The World’s First ‘Hotel on a Bridge’ is Opening in Seoul

The Seoul City Announced That It Will Convert A Café On The Han River Bridge Into An ”Observation Hotel,“

The Seoul City announced that it will convert a café on the Han River Bridge into an ”Observation Hotel,“ which will open on July 16, 2024. This will be the world’s first hotel on a bridge. The hotel will feature a single room with an area of 144.13 square meters, including a bedroom, living room, and bathroom, accommodating up to four guests. The room will have large windows offering views of Yeouido, the 63 Building, and the beautiful sunrise, sunset, and nightscape over the Han River.

Reservations for the hotel can be made through the online accommodation platform Airbnb, and the hotel will be operated by Sanha HM Co., Ltd., a private company that also manages Ramada Hotel and Militopia Hotel. The pricing for a stay has not yet been determined, but it is expected to range between 300,000 KRW (off-season) and 500,000 KRW (peak season) per night.
