At midnight on January 1, 2025, three babies were born simultaneously in South Korea. The three newborns, delivered at Cha University Ilsan Medical Center, weighed 3.29kg, 3.12kg, and 3.1kg, respectively.

One baby‘s parents shared that they had undergone more than two years of fertility treatments before successfully conceiving naturally. They expressed how meaningful it was for their baby, born in the 10th year of their marriage, to be the first child of the New Year. Kim Ui-Hyuk, a professor of obstetrics at Cha University Ilsan Medical Center, said, ”Despite these challenging times, I hope every newborn brings new hope to South Korea.“
