A K-drama that depicts a special group, called D.P. (Deserter Pursuit), in the Korean military that arrests runaway soldiers.

Although the armistice was signed in 1953, it doesn’t mean that the war between South Korea and North Korea is over.

All Korean men between the ages of 18 and 35 are obligated to perform military service for 1 year and 6 months (as of 2022).

You will be able to see what Korean men go through in the Korean military. When first released, it was well received by the audience for its realistic portrayal of the dark side of the Korean military.

A lot of male viewers who have served in the military said that the drama brought back their trauma from the military. They described the drama to be “hyperrealism.”
