All BTS Members Begin Their Military Services

With BTS Members Jimin and Jungkook Joining The Army As Active Duty Members, The Group Will Now Have All Seven Members Fulfill Their Military Obligations

Jimin and Jungkook joined the Division on December 12, 2023. After completing basic military training and receiving their battalion assignments, the two will serve on military duty. The day before, RM and V also enlisted together. In April of this year, J-Hope joined the military, and in December of last year, eldest member Jin first announced his military service and was recently promoted to sergeant. SUGA has been serving as a social service worker since last September.

The members will return to society one by one starting with Jin next year. RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook’s expected release date is June 2025, after which BTS will resume full team activities.
